Description:
Our client is hiring for an iOS Software Engineer to join their team in San Diego, CA. In this position, you will be designing and developing iOS applications for our core CGM devices used all over the world, to help improve the lives of people with diabetes. You will be joining a well-established team & company, on an upward growth trajectory.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55 - $57 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
You will design and build applications for the iOS platform

You'll implement requirements on iOS apps, write and update design documents

We'll rely on you to continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency

You'll interface with software test to ensure high quality product

You will develop automated unit and integration tests

You'll participate in design, code and test reviews

You will propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability

Experience Requirements:
You have a minimum 1-2 years of native iOS app development experience using Swift in combination with both UIKit and SwiftUI. Knowledge of Objective C is preferred.

You have 3 years of professional software development experience

You bring a high degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding

You have experience working in Agile teams & using tools such as Jira and Confluence

You have experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions

You have experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow

You have experience writing automated tests using XCTest and XCUITest

You have working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP

MUST HAVES:

Strong understanding of software development principles and practice. 3-5+ years of iOS development experience. Ideally more senior, the better and needs to have a focus in SDK/backend development. Architectural experience is key in the difference between a junior and more experience candidate. Look for MVVM or MVC type of experience! 1-2+ years of experience with Swift. Testing experience: Unit Testing is most important! but also Espresso Testing experience would all be nice to have not required to have/know. Enterprise level experience and longer-term stints at companies are strongly preferred on resumes - no job hoppers. Be sure to elaborate on their shorter stints where applicable. BIG PLUS: Bluetooth experience & Any industry experience that has FDA requirements OR enterprise level company experience and documentation. There will be lots of documentation in this role.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
