Job Description
The Workday Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Workday platform to ensure it meets organizational needs and drives business success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HRIS technology while directly impacting how the company manages its most valuable asset - its people.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with HR teams, IT professionals, and business stakeholders to maintain data integrity, enhance system functionality, and provide expert guidance on Workday best practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging technology to streamline HR processes and has a strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. You'll report to the IT leadership team while working cross-functionally to support end-users and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday modules and PATT systems to align with business requirements and industry best practices
- Demonstrate expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Workday Business Processes, Condition rules, Eligibility Rules, and EIB functionalities
- Execute mass change imports using Workday EIBs to support large-scale data updates and organizational changes
- Actively engage with the Workday Community to stay current on trends and feature updates, providing technical input on optional features
- Serve as subject matter expert on key business processes, driving decisions and recommending best practices for Workday functionality
- Manage data integrity within the Workday system through imports, exports, and regular system audits
- Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and delivering training on system functionalities
- Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for decision-making processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, collaborating with stakeholders to implement changes
- Ensure Workday system compliance with regulations and internal policies, implementing necessary data protection controls
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Support HCM and Benefits modules within the Workday ecosystem
Required Experience/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Three or more years of hands-on experience working with Workday or similar HRIS platforms
- Proficiency in Workday configuration, reporting, and data management capabilities
- Strong understanding of HR processes and industry best practices
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting tasks
- Experience with mass data imports and system integrations
- This role requires the employee to work a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote. Candidates should be within a 50-minute radius of Temple, TX.
Nice-to-Haves
- Workday certification in relevant modules
- Experience with HCM and Benefits modules specifically within Workday
- Background working in supply chain, retail, or distribution industry environments
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in large-scale organizations
- Experience in a corporate IT or HR technology role
- Knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

- Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually
