Technical Operations Lead Enterprise File Transfer (EFT or MFT)
The Technical Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, reliability, and performance of critical IT infrastructure and services for Enterprise File Transfer. This role will lead a team of technical professionals, ensuring operational excellence, high availability, and compliance with security and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Enterprise File Transfer solutions and architectures and a strong background in IT operations management.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of operations / system engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement
Oversee the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and optimization of core infrastructure services supporting Enterprise File Transfer
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise file transfer solutions, with a preference for experience in Globalscape and MOVEit environments
Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure system reliability, stability, and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root cause analysis for incidents
Manage change control, incident response, and problem management processes
Essential Functions:
7+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or supervisory role
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Customer service based mindset
Self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision
Team player / team leadership
Consistently provide innovative ideas to solve complex problems
Perform platform, systems, and applications troubleshooting
Team and vendor collaboration and management
Efficient transition of solutions from engineering to operations and support
Participate in rotational 24x7 on call 3rd /4th level support
Participate in design / architecture reviews of systems and future systems planning
Preferred:
Proven experience with enterprise file transfer solutions; preference given to candidates with hands-on experience in Globalscape and/or MOVEit
