SSIS Data Integration Consultant (Remote Contract) Healthcare Claims Data Transformation | Remote | Contract

Remedi Electronic Commerce Group is seeking skilled SSIS Data Integration Consultants for a fully remote, contract-based engagement supporting a large-scale healthcare data migration and transformation initiative. This project is scheduled to begin within the next 30 days and is expected to run long-term.

About the Role
You'll be joining a team focused on replicating hundreds of outbound data extracts from a legacy system to a new enterprise platform. These extracts include eligibility, claims, and accumulator data used by downstream systems such as pharmacy benefit managers and analytics vendors. Consultants will review and map existing files, develop new file outputs using Microsoft SSIS, and collaborate with a client-side team responsible for validation and release to production.

What You'll Do

  • Review existing extract logic and translate it into new SSIS-based processes

  • Build and maintain outbound data files in standard and custom formats

  • Leverage C# and JSON for scripting and file construction as needed

  • Collaborate with the client s QA and development teams during review cycles

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing

  • Deliver consistently formatted outputs matching legacy standards

Required Skills

  • Strong experience developing with Microsoft SSIS

  • Proficiency with C# and JSON in data transformation scenarios

  • Direct experience working with healthcare claims, eligibility, and accumulator datasets

  • Solid understanding of relational databases and structured data workflows

  • Must be self-directed, able to work independently, and comfortable interfacing with technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with or supporting Third Party Administrators (TPAs)
  • Hands on Team Lead experience is a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with standard file exchange practices in the healthcare payer ecosystem
