Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Mainframe DB2 System Programmer for CA DB2 tools to IBM DB2 tools migration with 11 13 years of experience to lead strategic initiatives and optimize business processes, with a strong focus on DB2 Administration. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of database performance, security, and integration, and operates primarily during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain DB2 databases to ensure high performance and reliability

  • Monitor performance metrics and recommend enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to minimize downtime
  • Coordinate integration of DB2 systems with other business applications

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in DB2 Administration and database management

  • Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • IBM Certified Database Administrator DB2 certification required
