TS/SCI Clearance is required.
Onsite work at Schriever SFB is required.

Overview:
As part of the Cyber Operations Technical (Tech) Writer Team, the goal is to provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and relevant expertise based on the client and the cyber mission requirements. Working with the client and as a team, this position is a response for analyzing operational instructions (OIs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation supporting Cyber Operations for Space. These documents will be analyzed using best practices, compliance policy, documentation standards, frameworks, and vocabulary to include Department of Defense, Joint Publication, and Evaluator Scoring Metrics (ESM).
This role will define organizational alignment at the Strategic to Tactical levels, evaluating and developing areas of improvement to ensure continuity of effort in maintaining accreditation, perform substantive studies and analysis to define Return on Investment regarding cyberspace defense capital purchases, and evaluate current maturity based on ESM and develop improvements to Cyber Operations areas of concentration. This position will provide knowledge transfer of cyberspace defense information documents and provide lessons learned and feedback as applicable. As a Cyber Operations for Space Subject Matter Expert (SME), the candidate and the team are responsible for the development of non-recurring analysis of the current organization's operational mission and adherence to ESM principles. Responsibilities will include supporting the development, and maturing the Organize, Train, and Equip (OT&E) function and assist in the coordination and deconfliction of current and future operations as defined by the client. In support of the client, this candidate will assist in generating, approving, and releasing mission type orders to direct sub-ordinate units and mission partners. Finally, this position will assist in the coordination with client entities to ensure a fully integrated crew construct for each defended space mission system.
This position requires travel up to 10% of the time
Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with general IT
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cyberspace Analyst
  • Experience with a DoD agency
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber, Computer Science, or Information System Technologies
  • DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification DoD 8570-Compliant Certification, IAT Level II or III such as Security+.


Additional Skills in:

  • Experience with developing CONOPS, CONPLANs, OPORDs or OPLANs, fragmentary orders, execute orders, and other MDMP or JOPP planning products
  • Experience with Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) for Space (DOC-S)
  • Experience with Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience at DoD Head Quarters Level
  • Knowledge of current Cyberspace operations tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Ability to edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, and other customer deliverables and documents
  • Ability to collect and organize information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in Cyber, Computer Science, or Information System Technologies
