What You'll Do:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Manager of Cloud Software Engineering to motivate, empower, and drive innovation within the team. This hands-on role requires a strong technical background and a willingness to actively participate in the design, development, and implementation of high-quality, innovative cloud software solutions. You will not only guide and mentor engineers, but also roll up your sleeves to help solve complex problems and ensure the efficiency and reliability of ADT's products.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $142,400 - $213,600 and is based on experience and qualifications.
Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.

Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.

- Strategic Leadership: Engage in and improve the whole life cycle of services, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and technical vision.
- Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and architectures. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends.
- Security and Compliance: Promote a culture of secure software development.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and operations to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Team Management: Recruit, build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of successfully leading and managing engineering teams of five or more.
- Strong technical expertise in Java with recent hands-on experience; experience with other programming languages is a plus.
- Extensive experience in building cloud-native services, preferably on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
