  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer (Mobile) to join our team.

    JOB SUMMARY

    This role is responsible for designing and developing proprietary and commercial off-the-shelf systems that align with IT objectives. This senior-level position requires relevant experience across all phases of the System Development Life Cycle, including application development from scratch, software maintenance, and feature enhancements.

    JOB SPECIFICATION AND SKILLS

    • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with full stack programming with emphasis in:
      • Mobile UI and application development on IOS and Android
      • Distribution and management on Apple and Google stores
      • PHP, Python, JavaScript Programming
      • UI/UX development in JavaScript/HTML ecosystems
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in AWS environments.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science with relevant experience.
    • Ability to independently complete assigned projects.
    • Proven background in software engineering and architecture analysis and design.
    • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.
    • Skilled in writing SQL and integrating with ODBC.
    • Experience using source versioning systems (GIT, Subversion).
    • Familiarity with libraries and tools involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, JDBC, PHP, JasperReports, XML, and JSON.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
    • Self-motivated and flexible.
    • Strong verbal, written, and customer service capabilities.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
    • Capable of completing assigned tasks independently.
    • Self-driven awareness of current trends in IT services and delivery.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
    • Experience in organizational change management.
    REQUIRED TOOLS, TECHNOLOGIES, AND ENVIRONMENTS

    • Mobile Frameworks (legacy and current)
    • Linux and Windows OS
    • AWS and Azure environments
    • Server-side Web development technologies primarily using PHP / Python
    • Integrated Development Environments (IntelliJ IDEA, PgAdmin, SQL Server Management Studio)
    • Source versioning system (GIT / Subversion)
    • SQL (PostgreSQL / T-SQL)
    • Trouble ticket reporting system (JIRA, Issuetrak or similar)
    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and deliver innovative design and content across mobile platforms, web interfaces, and API integrations for systems managed and supported.
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions and resolve issues within acceptable levels of cost, stability, risk, and reliability.
    • Establish and maintain development frameworks that are optimal for each application.
    • Develop and maintain code to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
    • Assist with maintenance of source code repositories, continuous integration, and deployment plans.
    • Monitor, propose, and participate in upgrades for current technologies based on discovered vulnerabilities and value to projects.
    • Maintain documentation on systems, architectures, and builds.
    • Support project management activities related to IT and general objectives.
    • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
