Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
IT Network & Telecommunications designs, operates and maintains the organization's local and wide area networks and telecommunications systems and manages relationships with telecommunications service and maintenance vendors. This job family evaluates existing network systems and develops long-term strategies to ensure network capacity meets current and future network requirements. IT Network & Telecommunications performs technical analyses of software, hardware, and network systems as well as systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexors, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems.

Responsibilities
- Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution and escalation.
- Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments and advanced work.
- Is self-motivated and possesses ability to multi-task in enterprise environment.
- Requires excellent phone and email communication skills.
- Open/Update/Assign/Resolve incidents in Service Now and monitor ticket queue.
- Understanding of the business and impact of missed SLA's and how it impacts our customers.
- Maintains a variety of documentation: including operation's procedures (SOP), run sheets, shift turnover.
- Consults with senior team members and supervisor on complex and unusual problems.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Basic understanding of multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.) and technical platforms (networks, firewalls, storage, load balancing, virtualization, etc).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and systems including routing and switching, Cisco, HP & F5 network devices, VOIP, WLANs.
- Network technologies and topologies: VPN, Aruba, CloudGenix, Meraki, SD-WAN, Cisco routers and switches, HP switches.
- AWS cloud computing and Google cloud platform experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting (Python or similar) is a plus.
- Knowledge of the following tools is a plus:
- Tivoli ITNM, Dynatrace or SolarWinds monitoring, NetQos, Service Now, AWS / Google Cloud Platform Cloud console, CloudGenix and Meraki consoles, Panorama
- Analyst must have good communication, organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- F5 load balancers and Palo Alto experience / knowledge is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to respond well to problems or challenges under pressure.
- Ability to work 1st shift in 24X7 environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
