RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager Tech in Redmond, WA.
Summary:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the design and development of a scalable Project Management Toolkit to support the successful delivery of both business and technology initiatives across the global datacenter fleet. This role applies project management best practices across the full project lifecycle, with a focus on creating standardized checklists, reusable templates, and technical feasibility frameworks that enhance delivery quality, consistency, and standardization across a wide range of initiatives.
Key Projects:
* Lead the creation and implementation of a standardized Project Management Toolkit with checklist and reusable templates to support consistent execution of initiatives across datacenter environments
* Present and explain project checklist and templates to stakeholders
* Collaborate with management, engineering, and operations teams to define project specifications and procedures
* Ensure adherence to the project management checklist and templates across initiatives impacting Datacenter Operations
* Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of toolkit components and supporting systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including engineering, product, and operations-to define business requirements and integrate technical feasibility criteria into planning tools
* Oversee the implementation of toolkit components across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and stakeholder needs
* Define and execute test plans to validate toolkit usability and effectiveness; lead user acceptance testing and rollout planning
* Facilitate training and enablement sessions to drive adoption of the toolkit across teams
* Develop required technical specifications for project management processes and templates development into an enterprise project management tracking tool
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
* PMP or PMI certification
* Minimum 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Loop, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Azure DevOps (ADO)
* Minimum 8+ years of experience with great communication skills, particularly for stakeholder engagement
* PM experience
* Experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions in multi-platform environments
* Proficiency in project management tools
* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Ability to work independently and manage one's time
* Performance will be assessed based on ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quality of work
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
