Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Vulnerability and Device Remediation Specialist to join our team in a remote, contract-based role. As part of our Information Technology department, you will focus on fortifying our digital defenses by identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in our systems and networks. You will be the frontline in swiftly diagnosing and treating any security weaknesses to ensure our data remains secure and our operations uninterrupted. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities:

Identify and address vulnerabilities in our systems and networks to fortify digital defenses
Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and urgency
Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to apply patches, updates, and configuration adjustments
Maintain the security and integrity of our operations
Troubleshoot applications, providing solutions to any issues that arise
Utilize Windows OS and SCCM/Client Remediation tools to ensure smooth operations
Monitor and analyze EO/IR systems, making adjustments as necessary
Work with Deskside Support to ensure all systems are functioning optimally
Perform Vulnerability Analysis and Remediation, ensuring all potential threats are identified and addressed
Maintain a strong understanding of digital networks, using this knowledge to enhance security.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in a Project Coordinator role or similar
Proficiency in Operations, Security, and Troubleshooting
Knowledge of Networks and Digital platforms
Experience with Deskside Support and Configuration Management
Familiarity with Windows OS and Remediation processes
Skills in Vulnerability Analysis and Patch Management
Knowledge of EO/IR systems
Ability to make necessary adjustments in project plans or operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
