Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. This long-term contract position involves working on modernizing and enhancing our Digital Academy software, a platform widely used by educators and trainers. The role emphasizes front-end development while offering opportunities to contribute across the full stack.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and improve full-stack web applications with a strong focus on front-end performance and usability.
Collaborate on the modernization of the Digital Academy platform, enhancing features like lesson planning, grading, and attendance tracking.
Lead the migration of front-end components from Angular to Vue.js, ensuring a seamless transition.
Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira and GitHub for project tracking and version control.
Implement and optimize APIs to support application functionality.
Participate in Agile Scrum processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of project goals.
Apply best practices in bug tracking and resolution to maintain system reliability.
Conduct A/B testing to improve user experience and application performance.
Requirements
Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.
Experience with backend development using technologies like ASP.NET and .NET.
Strong knowledge of programming languages, including C++.
Familiarity with API development and integration.
Hands-on experience with tools like Atlassian Jira and GitHub.
Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
Expertise in debugging and testing, including A/B testing.
Knowledge of web technologies like AJAX for dynamic application functionality.
