Location: Basking Ridge, NJ (Local Only Onsite 3 Days/Week)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AEM Content Author to join our client s digital experience team in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. This is a hands-on role focused on content creation, publishing, optimization, and management within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

This position requires strong authoring experience in AEM Touch UI, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and DAM, along with excellent communication and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and publish content using AEM Touch UI components and templates.

  • Build and manage Content Fragments (CFs) and Experience Fragments (XFs) for reusable, multi-channel content.

  • Manage digital assets in AEM DAM including uploading, tagging, metadata, versioning, and optimization.

  • Execute and track AEM content workflows (review, approval, translation, scheduling, publishing).

  • Perform content QA to ensure accuracy, branding, consistency, and functionality across devices and browsers.

  • Apply SEO best practices (metadata, alt text, keywords) and ensure WCAG accessibility compliance.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, UX, development, and product teams.

  • Work in an Agile environment using JIRA for task and workflow management.


Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an AEM Content Author (not developer).

  • Strong experience in AEM Touch UI authoring.

  • Hands-on experience with Content Fragments (CFs) and Experience Fragments (XFs).

  • Proficiency in AEM DAM including asset governance and metadata.

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.

  • Experience with content workflows, publishing, and version control.

  • Strong communication, detail orientation, and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SEO, WCAG accessibility standards, and content governance.

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise AEM environments.


Work Environment

  • Onsite requirement: 3 days per week at Basking Ridge, NJ

  • Local candidates highly preferred

  • No client interview expected (internal rounds only)
