Job Details

Our client is a bank. They seek a Senior IT Support Specialist to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the ticketing system by assigning, reviewing, and analyzing tickets
  • Provide first-line support (Level 1) for desktop and banking applications
  • Work extensively with end users to answer questions or escalate issues
  • Support Windows workstations and Windows server environment
  • Generate and submit Helpdesk KPI and KRI reports
  • Automate Helpdesk tasks using scripts, including PowerShell and Python
  • Accurately document Helpdesk procedures and troubleshooting steps

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of IT Support experience in the banking industry
  • Familiar with banking systems, including Summit and Montran
  • Knowledge of desktop applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Help Desk management software (KACE, Jira, Zendesk)
  • Skilled in Windows Server (2022) and Windows Workstation (10 and 11).
  • Experience with scripting tools (PowerShell, Python)
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
