Job Summary

We requires a skilled technical professional to develop, implement, and maintain an Asset Management Tracking, Tracing, and Inventory System. The goal is to centralize asset visibility, streamline asset movement approval workflows, and enable real-time reporting through integrated dashboards. The solution will consolidate data from multiple internal databases. It will standardize internal processes through integration of asset movement approval forms and support operational compliance and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and consolidate asset data from multiple internal systems
  • Ensure real-time data synchronization using ETL tools or APIs
  • Create data workflows for updates, validation, and consistency
  • Implement data connectors for structured database access
  • Design a U.S. heat map interface with drill-down functionality
  • Build interactive filters by asset type, location, and status
  • Display asset-specific data across categories (e.g., equipment, IT systems)
  • Implement search, export, and reporting features
  • Optimize dashboard performance and responsiveness
  • Link standardized forms to asset movement events (removal, relocation, disposal)
  • Ensure real-time status updates and approval tracking
  • Build approval workflows for authorized personnel
  • Enforce controls to block unauthorized asset changes
  • Perform daily checks for synchronization and data integrity
  • Address discrepancies and system performance issues promptly
  • Conduct weekly reviews of access logs and system health
  • Apply updates and monitor usage trends for improvements
  • Provide documentation and training to internal staff
  • Ensure smooth handover and long-term maintainability
  • Support additional software or data integration projects as needed

Required Skills
  • Proven experience in asset tracking systems and database integration
  • Strong skills in SQL, ETL, and platforms like ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with CMDB, asset lifecycle, and form-based workflows
  • Experience building interactive dashboards with real-time updates
  • Knowledge of heat maps, drill-downs, and query search features
  • Data transformation and quality assurance across systems
  • Troubleshooting of integration issues and data consistency validation
  • Experience with API-based and ETL-based system integrations

Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience working with multiple internal data systems
  • Proficiency with dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, or web-based tools)
  • Familiarity with form workflow automation and approval routing
  • Understanding of access control, system security, and audit trails
  • Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field preferred
  • If no degree, minimum 4 additional years of relevant work experience
  • 5+ years in asset tracking, data integration, or related fields
