Java Software Engineer - O'Fallon (Onsite)

We are seeking a senior-level Java Software Engineer with strong technical expertise to guide development efforts and drive high-quality software delivery in our corporate banking division. You will work on high-traffic, scalable microservices while providing technical leadership to both onshore and offshore teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop Java-based microservices architecture
• Ensure implementation quality, including maintainability, security, and performance best practices
• Lead and mentor team members, distributing tasks and tracking progress
• Integrate backend services with modern frontend frameworks
• Conduct code reviews and maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven expertise in Java/Spring frameworks and microservices architecture
• Strong ability to develop RESTful APIs and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Proficiency with frontend technologies and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization
