Job Summary: Neutronics Core Designer (Senior Level Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Neutronics Core Designer to support nuclear utility operations through advanced core design and analysis.
This is a remote position with occasional travel to site, offered as a 12-month contract with potential for extension.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neutronics core design and prior experience working with or for nuclear utilities.
A Bachelor s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field is required.
Familiarity with NRC regulations, procedures, and licensing processes is essential to ensure compliance with applicable standards and support site-specific requirements.
- Responsibilities include reactor core modeling, reactor physics calculations, technical procedure development, and collaboration with engineering and regulatory teams. The successful candidate will be self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a remote setting.
