Job Details

Senior Business Analyst: support a major modernization effort involving the migration and rewrite of existing web applications/portal solutions from Oracle middleware to AWS. The analyst will work with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to document current-state processes, define future-state requirements, and support end-to-end migration planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze legacy Oracle Middleware based applications (SOA Suite, WebLogic, ADF) and document functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and technical requirements for AWS-native solutions.
  • Support cloud migration planning, data/integration mapping, and application rewrite efforts.
  • Facilitate stakeholder sessions and ensure traceability through development, testing, and UAT.
  • Assist with backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of BA or Systems Analyst experience.
  • Prior experience with cloud migration and application modernization projects.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle middleware and AWS services.
  • Excellent communication and Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, take initiative and multi-task
  • Strong documentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work within a multi-cultural environment.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12+ months.

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ area. Hybrid, working onsite 3 days/week.
