Job Description
Location: On-site Houston, TX
The Role
This position focuses on operational technology, managing SCADA systems, control infrastructure, communication networks, and selected third-party applications. The role ensures consistent data flow, optimal system performance, and secure access across field and enterprise environments.
What You ll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SCADA platforms and field communication networks.
- Monitor and sustain control system hardware and software to guarantee availability and data accuracy.
- Oversee user access, security permissions, and disaster recovery processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on infrastructure upgrades and application integrations.
- Create and manage reporting dashboards and performance analytics.
- Diagnose and fix application errors and system bottlenecks.
- Support the integration of new technologies and system interconnections.
- Deliver end-user assistance, technical documentation, and occasional training sessions.
What You Bring
Must-Have
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on SCADA system support.
- In-depth understanding of SCADA protocols and network communications.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, TCP/IP, and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with Cygnet SCADA software.
- Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration capabilities.
