Description
We are looking for a skilled Product Support Specialist to join our team in Marlton, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings, renderings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for furniture projects while collaborating with dealers and sales representatives to ensure client needs are met effectively. This position requires technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Develop precise 2D and 3D drawings to support furniture layouts for diverse projects.
Revise and update designs based on project requirements and client feedback.
Specify products across various furniture lines, ensuring accurate application of product codes.
Collaborate with team members to provide design solutions, value engineering, and layout recommendations.
Stay informed about furniture systems, finishes, materials, and specifications to ensure up-to-date product knowledge.
Interpret technical documents, including diagrams, oral instructions, and schedules, to guide project execution.
Present design concepts and recommendations clearly to clients and team members.
Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a high level of detail and organization.
Meet deadlines and resolve challenges independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or 6-10 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Configura and Worksheet software is preferred.
Strong knowledge of furniture systems, finishes, materials, and product specifications.
Ability to communicate design ideas effectively, both verbally and visually.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Self-motivated and capable of solving problems independently while meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with furniture specifications within corporate, healthcare, and educational settings.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills to support technical accuracy.
