Job Details
Workflow architects primarily focus on defining, optimizing, and automating business processes, often using traditional automation methods like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and business process management (BPM) tools. Generative AI architects specialize in designing and implementing AI systems, particularly generative models like Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI tools. Workflow architects may leverage existing AI models or tools but are not typically involved in the core development of the AI models themselves
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of engineers in the Generative AI space, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Address and resolve complex software development challenges to create robust applications.
- Develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) from both well-defined and ambiguous requirements.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development among engineers of all levels.
- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and leadership to align on project goals and outcomes.
- Adapt and integrate quickly into the USAA environment, employing effective troubleshooting strategies.
- Foster strong engagement with Executive Management Groups (EMGs) and leadership to support project success.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in data engineering and SQL.
- Expertise in API development, particularly using FastAPI.
- Advanced application development experience.
- Proficient in software development with experience in Kafka and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with job automation tools like Control-M and Airflow.
