Job Description: Test Data Management (TDM) Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Long-Term Contract Role


Schedule: EST Business Hours (8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST)
Camera Policy: Mandatory camera participation during all meetings

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled TDM Engineer to lead and support enterprise-level Test Data Management (TDM) initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in CA TDM (Broadcom TDM), with additional experience in Delphix as a strong plus. This role will focus on architecting, implementing, and optimizing TDM solutions to support Agile and DevOps-driven application development and testing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement enterprise-level Test Data Management (TDM) strategies, ensuring scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize Broadcom CA TDM (Portal, Fast Data Masker, Data Maker, Data Subsetting, Javelin) for data provisioning, masking, generation, and workflow automation.
  • Leverage Delphix (preferred) for data virtualization, cloning, and self-service portal configuration.
  • Drive compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA through effective masking and synthetic data generation.
  • Integrate TDM solutions with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and Agile/DevOps environments.
  • Support diverse database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Oversee the complete test data lifecycle from intake to delivery, including restoration and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align TDM processes with business goals, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Test Data Management experience using tools such as Broadcom CA TDM, Delphix, Informatica TDM, Javelin, or GenRocket.
  • Proven expertise in CA TDM / Broadcom TDM (candidates without this will be rejected).
  • Hands-on experience with Broadcom TDM components (Portal, Fast Data Masker, Data Maker, Subsetting, Javelin workflows).
  • Strong background in data provisioning, masking, synthetic data generation, and test data strategies.
  • Experience with enterprise databases (relational & non-relational).
  • Solid understanding of Agile/DevOps frameworks and automation pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to architect scalable TDM solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Delphix expertise (significant advantage).
  • Experience with data virtualization, REST API automation, and self-service data portals.
  • Familiarity with data quality, ETL/ELT processes, data profiling, and containerization (Docker).
