ROLE: Contract Specialist, Site Merchandising
DEPARTMENT: E-Commerce
**This is an 8 week contract through summer 2025 with potential to extend**

About the Role
We are seeking a Contract Site Merchandising Specialist to support our growing eCommerce team through a high-volume period of launches and platform enhancements. This contractor will provide hands-on administrative and QA support for launches, promotions, and fast-tracked projects across the site, ensuring excellence across all stages of the funnel-from homepage to PDP. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in CMS tools, and detail-oriented in site QA and executional support. You'll work closely with the Site Merch team and cross-functional partners to ensure flawless site experiences, accurate launch execution, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
1-3 years of experience in site merchandising, eCommerce operations, or digital marketing
Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager and Page Designer
Strong attention to detail with a passion for QA and accuracy
Experience managing tasks and timelines using tools like Basecamp, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar
Experience supporting digital launches or eCommerce projects on a contract or freelance basis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Understanding of end-to-end eCommerce funnel behavior and customer journey
Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to learn new tools quickly and work cross-functionally with creative, dev, and marketing teams
Key Responsibilities
Launch Support & QA
QA launch and promotional experiences across the funnel, from homepage to PDP, ensuring accuracy across devices and environments
Assist with QA of new experiences tied to our Composable Kendra Scott transition, including content modules, category templates, and navigation
Support UAT testing for high-priority Q3 initiatives, validating functionality and site behavior in staging before go-live
Build and update landing pages using Page Designer based on provided wireframes, briefs, or creative assets
Conduct audits and clean-ups of site content, removing outdated modules or correcting errors across the catalog and content hub
Provide ad hoc QA or executional support to the Site Merch Manager for key fast-tracked projects and upcoming launches
Administrative & Executional Support
Submit and manage Basecamp tickets for creative and dev deliverables
Track progress and ensure deliverables are routed and handed off on time
Update backend catalog setup in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Business Manager), including new category creation, attribute updates, and filter assignments
Load mid-funnel storytelling modules and merchandising content into Page Designer or other CMS tools
Assist with site updates related to sales, promotions, and campaign merchandising
Reporting & Communication
Support ad hoc reporting pulls to monitor campaign or category performance
Maintain internal documentation for key tasks and projects
Communicate launch status updates, blockers, or handoff needs to the team in a timely and organized manner
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
