Project Engineer (CEI Project Admin) opportunity in Orlando
Project Engineer is responsible for monitoring contractor performance, approving
invoices for payment, monitoring expenditures, verifying for completeness and accuracy,
etc.T
Project Engineer is responsible for monitoring contractor performance, approving
invoices for payment, monitoring expenditures, verifying for completeness and accuracy,
etc.T
- 2+ years of engineering experience in construction of major road or bridge structures,
- 8+ years of responsible and related engineering experience 2 years of which involved construction of major road and bridge structure.
- Directs and assigns specific tasks to inspectors and assists in all phases of the construction project.
- Required to attend the Final Estimate Preparation Seminar for Consultant CEI's or the District Specific Final Estimates Preparation Seminar.
- Knowledge of the FDOT Field Standards, responsible for the progress and final estimates throughout the duration of the construction project. Qualifications:
- Asphalt Roadway Level II (will require Roadway Level I written exam) -16 FDOT Advanced MOT or Approved Equal
- Master's Degree in Engineering may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
- The Contract Administrator is responsible for verifying that appropriate contracting procedures are followed.
