Position Overview: We are seeking an Account Department Specialist with expertise in Concur and invoice processing to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the enterprise banking department, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of invoices and payment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Review and approve invoices with specific attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and proper assignment to internal customers.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide reports and analysis for related processing and explain discrepancies.
- Customer Service: Manage requests from vendors, clients, and other internal customers, resolving invoice questions and payment requests by phone and email.
- Time Management: Handle daily invoice approval cut-offs and urgent payment requests, ensuring regular daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines are met.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including covering for an employee while they are out, managing phones and emails, and working with mail and accounting questions.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in an automated/paperless payables environment preferred.
- Experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Accounts Payable is a plus.
- Experience with Concur Invoice is a plus.
