Work Location: Hybrid Lansing, MI (Local Candidates Only; In-office Tue/Wed)
Interview: Virtual via MS Teams (Photo screenshot and vendor presence required at interview start)

Lead the application's look and feel, ensuring adherence to usability and design standards

Participate in requirements gathering and brainstorm sessions with stakeholders

Create personas, user flows, journey maps, sketches, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

Conduct user interviews, usability, and accessibility testing (ADA)

Collaborate with Business Analyst and Technical Lead to validate design against business needs and technical feasibility

Serve as a UI/UX advocate for the end users and ensure conformance with State of Michigan standards and accessibility guidelines

Provide design resources and guidance to the development team

Liaise with the DTMB Center for Shared Solutions (CSS) eMichigan team
