Data Automation & Collections Systems Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Data Automation & Collections Systems Analyst to support and enhance our billing and collections operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong scripting and automation skills, a deep understanding of data workflows, and hands-on experience with collections platforms.

<>Key Responsibilities:</>
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using VBA, PowerShell, or Python to streamline billing and collections processes.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Support and enhance workflows within collections systems (e.g., FACS, CARM-Pro, or similar platforms).
  • Build Excel-based dashboards and tools for operational reporting and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with finance, IT, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Document technical processes and provide training to end users as needed.
<>Required Skills & Experience:</>
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA macros).
  • Strong scripting experience in PowerShell or Python.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience working with or supporting collections or billing systems.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data validation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
<>Preferred Qualifications:</>
  • Experience with FACS, CARM-Pro, or other debt collection platforms.
  • Exposure to SSRS, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of process automation or RPA concepts.
