Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join our dynamic Financial Services IAM team. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role that will support multiple IAM-related projects while driving process improvements, building workflows, and creating high-quality documentation.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable juggling multiple initiatives, and can deliver high-quality, creative solutions. While familiarity with tools like SailPoint or strong Privileged Access Management (PAM) experience is a plus, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the IAM team to deliver hands-on support across multiple IAM-related projects.
Design, build, and maintain process workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support IAM operations.
Develop high-quality technical and functional documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and scalability.
Partner with cross-functional teams (security, infrastructure, application teams, etc.) to streamline IAM processes and improve access governance.
Assist in onboarding new applications, systems, and users into IAM platforms and processes.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, driving automation and efficiency wherever possible.
Troubleshoot IAM-related issues and provide escalation support as needed.
Stay up-to-date on IAM best practices, security standards, and emerging trends.
Qualifications
Required:
7 10 years of hands-on experience working within Identity & Access Management teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong experience building process workflows and developing clear, concise documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative approach to building solutions.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate ownership, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of IAM fundamentals, including user lifecycle management, access provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and access certifications.
Nice to Have (Preferred):
Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or other IAM platforms.
Exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools and processes.
Familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, FFIEC, GLBA).
