Each staff member assigned to this project must have a background screening that is equivalent to a Level Two (2) screening standard.
This is a fixed fee/hourly based project which is inclusive of travel, lodging, per diem expenses and all other costs associated with the completion of the associated tasks.

We are looking for an Application Tester-Cloud Migration consultant to join our technology team.
Required consultant experience provided by Contractor, shall include:
11-12+ years of experience programming in developing and utilizing test scripts to test web applications.
5 years of experience in utilizing automated testing tools/platforms to test applications.
Experience in conducting application testing without utilizing automated testing.
Experience with Kanban/Scrum/Agile.
Experience working collaboratively with business analysts and developers.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Experience with building test cases and running tests using Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, and/or Microfocus ALM.
Experience with application development security tools such as WebInspect.
Experience in standing up a new automated testing solution/platform.
Ability to plan, organize and document IT solutions.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate IT work assignments.
Experience testing APIs.
Experience working in a project-oriented environment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, ability to switch tasks, ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks.
Ability to research and investigate problems to developing viable solutions and report findings / recommendations clearly and effectively.
Experience developing functional and technical specifications, design flow, and system blueprints.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Software Engineering, or another related field.
Required Duties and Responsibilities of Consultant shall include but are not limited to:
Testing Work
o Collaborate with development teams to understand the scope of updates.
o Define a comprehensive testing strategy based on the specific changes made to the applications.
o Document test cases, test results, and any deviations from expected behavior.
o Identify test scenarios, test data, and success criteria.
o Perform integration testing to ensure interaction between different components of the application. Test broader system functionality, including infrastructure components.
o Perform functional testing through validation of end-to-end functionality from a user s perspective. Ensure that the application behaves as expected under various scenarios including negative testing.
o Execute testing based on the defined test scenarios. Report defects and issues promptly, including steps to reproduce. Collaborate with developers to address identified issues.
o Re-run test cases to ensure that no new defects were introduced during updates. Validate backward compatibility with existing features.
o Assess application responsiveness, identify bottlenecks, and performance issues.
o Validate security controls, authentication mechanisms, and authorization rules. Identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
o Verify that the updated applications work seamlessly across different browsers.
o Provide clear instructions for reproducing defects.
o Develop detailed test reports summarizing test execution, defects found, and overall application quality. Provide recommendations for improvements.
Work Timeframes
The selected individuals will occupy a full time position, working up to 40 hours per week. Standard work times will be (or approximately) standard business hours (8a 5p Monday-Friday). Due to new hardware installations, upgrades and maintenance, weekend and/or after hours work may be required on an exception basis. We do not anticipate overtime, but if required, the pay would be the hourly rate, not time and a half.
