RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Desktop Engineer in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* The Desktop Engineer will design, implement, and manage Windows-based systems and imaging environments
* Deploy and configure systems using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and SCCM
* Maintain optimal system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows imaging and endpoint management
* Collaborate with IT team members to establish the best system deployment and management practices
* The Desktop Engineer will provide technical support and training to end-users and IT staff
* Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, deployment processes, and policies
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration and endpoint management
* Proven expertise in Windows imaging using MDT and SCCM
* Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
* Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a complex IT environment
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
