RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Chapter Lead in Johnston, RI.
Responsibilities:
* Technical Chapter Lead will collaborate with the vendor of software engineering skills to ensure quality and accountability to the project
* Set expectations for vendor teams to maximize the value delivered to internal business clients
* Review code-based work products to ensure the delivery of quality software
* Adhere to internal software engineering and security standards as well as external industry practices
* Enable and support the members of the vendor team through administrative tasks
* Act as a technical leader overseeing a vendor-driven software engineering team
* As a Technical Chapter Lead, you will acquire and share domain and technical knowledge with the team
* Engage with solution architects and product owners as a technical SME
* Ensure alignment of strategic direction for the work product delivered by the vendor team
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years in software engineering and team leadership with C#, .NET, SQL, REST, GraphQL, and Javascript/React
* 2+ years managing and developing technical teams, including onboarding
* Experience with Docker, GraphQL (Hasura/Apollo Client), and software testing (ADO/Playwright)
* Experience with Agile/SCRUM and vendor team management
* Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, and performance optimization
* Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure code reviews
* Proficient in Microsoft Azure DevOps, CICD/YAML pipelines
* Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
* Detail-oriented in identifying code and architecture issues
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
