Job Details

Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

Mailchimp's Growth capability team develops and maintains the company's core technologies for effective advertising and monetization functions. These teams are responsible for the underlying architecture and tools required for Mailchimp's marketing capabilities as well as billing and subscriptions. Beyond the needs of our prospective and existing external customers, the Growth capability at Mailchimp serves a broader set of internal stakeholders including Mailchimp's Marketing & Marketing operations teams, Product development teams, Finance and Legal teams.

To support this mission, Mailchimp is hiring a Principal Engineer to efficiently facilitate solutions and outcomes across Growth's owned capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both monetization and subscription needs at scale, as well as marketing capabilities to enable data-driven, personalized experiences across various experience touchpoints, before and after a new customer is acquired.

At Intuit Mailchimp, PEs are expected to work in ambiguity and not shy away from tackling technical debt. They are intentional about measuring the impact of changes they facilitate to both the business and the customers they serve. They are able to determine which pieces of a system are high risk and can plan and mobilize system-wide changes with high confidence. Mailchimp's PEs are also kind and approachable; people trust their judgment and reach out when they have questions. They are proactive about helping engineers grow and are a force multiplier, leveling up those around them.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta and New York offices two or more days per week.
