Project Manager/ Network Engineer I (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
Location: Denver, CO Onsite
21 Week Contract
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer I to join our team on a temporary contract basis. This role involves hands-on work with IP routers, switches, and telephony equipment, as well as the design, configuration, and deployment of LAN and WAN network connections. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper technologies and a strong understanding of networking principles.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer I to join our team on a temporary contract basis. This role involves hands-on work with IP routers, switches, and telephony equipment, as well as the design, configuration, and deployment of LAN and WAN network connections. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper technologies and a strong understanding of networking principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IP routers, switches, and telephony equipment at customer premises.
- Design, configure, and deploy LAN/WAN network connections, including hardware, software, communication links, and services.
- Monitor and optimize network and system services to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all network infrastructure meets company standards for service provision and monitoring.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper routers.
- Solid understanding of internetworking designs and routing applications.
- Proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies.
- Familiarity with network protocols and their practical applications.
- Experience with firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG, or similar.
- Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are a plus.
