Security Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a Security Engineer who will design and build scalable systems to enforce strong access controls, manage secrets, and uphold the Principle of Least Privilege across our cloud infrastructure.

Duties:
* Build and maintain IAM controls for non-human identities across Google Cloud Platform, SaaS, and internal platforms
* Improve service account lifecycle, key rotation, and permission scoping
* Act as a go-to expert on IAM, guiding teams on best practices
* Collaborate across teams to align security with infrastructure modernization
* Automate and code solutions to solve technical challenges

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering with a focus on IAM or cloud security
* Deep knowledge of IAM concepts, especially in Google Cloud Platform
* Experience with authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth), identity providers (Okta), and IGA platforms
* Strong understanding of access control models like ABAC

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
