Oracle Cloud Financials Lead

The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end Cloud project experience leading core module areas of expertise, aligning key deliverables and milestone metrics, and delivering comprehensive business solutions to clients. As a key member of our motivated team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and consultants to develop, plan, and implement Cloud solutions across our growing practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide functional consulting services by leading clients through the entire Cloud application services implementation lifecycle
• Help clients identify business requirements and map them to the Financials Cloud functionality
• Conduct Functional Design Workshops with clients
• Identify functionality gaps and work with client to determine how to address
• Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
• Configure the Fusion Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups
• Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions
• Assist client in preparing validation scripts and testing scenarios and develop test scripts
• Lead migration of configuration, integrations, and extensions to production
• Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables
• Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
• Provide status and issue reports to the project manager/client on a regular basis
• Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree is required at a minimum
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Functional Lead role
• Oracle ERP Cloud experience with any or a combination of the following modules: GL, AP, AR, AM, Expenses
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud through a full lifecycle project
• Ability to lead other functional consultants through the different project phases
• Must be willing to travel as needed to client sites
  
• Must reside in the US
  
• Public Sector experience (local governments, city, county, state)
  

CONSULTING SKILLS

• Oracle ERP Cloud Certification is preferred
• Effectively manages scope and customer expectations on individual assignments
• Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of client issues
• Communicates clearly and effectively with clients, account managers, and management
• Consistently produces clear, concise status reports
• Builds confidence and trust with clients
• Displays effective analytical skills
