Description
Job Description: To provide technical support of the microcomputer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment utilized.
1. Executes work requests for microcomputer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment needs initiated by end users. This may include assigning tasks to microcomputer technicians, performing installations, end user training.
2. Defines and coordinates preventative maintenance activities related to microcomputers.
3. Assists in the definition and coordination of microcomputer configuration standards.
4. Maintains an inventory of all microcomputer equipment, including peripheral devices.
Skills:
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: Knowledge of microcomputer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Knowledge of Windows Operating System and previous experience with Windows 10 migration.
YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 2 years direct experience in microcomputer hardware and software operation, management, and repair.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Works independently and must be able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple priorities.
Ability to interact with end users at all levels of knowledge of microcomputers.
The employee communicates effectively.
Ability to teach and demonstrate to end users how to utilize hardware and software.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
