Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT M&A Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT due diligence, integration, separation, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects, particularly within the context of private equity and strategic acquisitions. As a Senior IT M&A Leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to private equity deal teams, leading client delivery teams through complex IT carve-out and integration engagements, and driving business development initiatives to expand our client base.


Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a key advisor to private equity deal teams and operating partners, offering expertise in enterprise-wide IT strategy analysis, M&A workstream support, and guidance on digital transformation initiatives.

  • Lead client delivery teams in executing IT carve-out and integration engagements, ensuring seamless transitions and maximizing value creation for our clients.

  • Direct sell-side technology carve-out activities and develop standalone IT roadmaps for acquired organizations.

  • Provide strategic guidance to private equity clients on digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity awareness, and post-merger integration efforts to drive portfolio company performance improvement.

  • Collaborate with firm leadership to define strategic direction and drive the development of IT integration and carve-out service delivery frameworks.

  • Assist private equity portfolio companies with consolidating technology platforms through the adoption of cloud, modern application development, and emerging digital transformation solutions.

  • Lead diverse, cross-functional teams to enhance client satisfaction and exceed sales objectives.

  • Actively participate in business development activities, targeting C-level executives and facilitating closing opportunities.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in managing IT M&A projects within the private equity and strategic acquisition space.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced financial acumen and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CM&AA, CISM, FMVA preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Extensive experience with enterprise architecture strategy, IT roadmaps, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, cybersecurity management, and business intelligence/analytics.

  • Ability to travel as needed.
