Agile Scrum Master
Note: This is a HYBRID position requiring 2 in-office days at local Client office per week. Travel costs are not reimbursable.
This role is for a highly skilled and experienced skilled Sr Scrum Master to facilitate scrum events for Operations agile team
Required Skills:
6 years of proven experience working as a scrum master
Experience with Scrum and Kanban agile methodologies
Proficient experience using Jira
Adept at story refinement, story splitting, story pointing and estimating, fostering velocity, actionable retrospection and PI planning experience
Facilitate scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review and Demo, and Sprint Retrospective. Support Pl Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
Work with the scrum team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, remove blockers and impediments by coordinating with other Scrum Masters and teams, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
Guide and coach the scrum team on how to use agile practices and principles to deliver quality products and business value. Foster collaboration and psychologically safe environment between team members.
Monitor and track Team metrics and take appropriate actions.; Document and monitor team working agreements
Understand at a High level the product(s) and technology your team(s) supports/uses within 90 days
Support Agile Coach or RTE with Agile Assessments, and Product & Agile workshops and training sessions
Elevate your teams' performance and relentless improvement by planning and evolving team metrics, recognizing areas of strength, and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
During scrum master community of practice, shared learnings from your team impediments and successes with other scrum masters to increase the effectiveness of the mastery and application of scrum and Kanban agile methodologies within the organization
Identify Anti-Patterns and address them with the team; Suggest creative programs to anti-patterns
To get current team level practices and where appropriate implement improvements support multiple normal sized teams
Lead agile assessments and product & agile workshops and training sessions.
Mentor and serve as a role model to other scrum masters
Evaluate current ART level practices and where appropriate work with your RTE to implement improvements
