Senior Architect - Azure

• Worksite Location: 100% Remote
• Compensation: $150,000-$160,000 annually

What you ll do as the Senior Architect:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a secure, scalable customer portal hosted on Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, IT, and product teams to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Select and implement appropriate Azure services to support portal functionality (App Services, API Management, Azure AD B2C, Key Vault, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, etc.)
• Oversee systems integration with CRM, ERP, and other enterprise applications
• Develop and enforce architecture standards, governance, and best practices
• Provide hands-on leadership during solution design, development, and deployment
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, identity, and access management best practices
• Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design guidelines, and operational processes
• Mentor and guide development teams to ensure alignment with architectural vision
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation in digital architecture

What you need to be a Senior Architect:

• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in cloud architecture, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure
• Proven success in architecting and delivering customer-facing portals or enterprise applications
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including: Azure App Services, API Management, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid; Azure AD / Azure AD B2C (customer identity management); Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, storage solutions; Networking, monitoring, and security services (Key Vault, Firewall, Application Gateway, WAF)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven design
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code
• Background in application modernization, containerization (AKS, Docker), and serverless computing
