Job Title: Security Technician
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated security technicians to join our team in the growing Savannah market. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including alarm wiring and access control equipment. We have openings for both Level 1 and Level 2 technicians, offering a chance to work in a dynamic and expanding environment.

Work Environment
Work is conducted at new construction or remodel commercial sites. The physical demands include lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds unassisted, standing, walking, and reaching for up to eight hours daily. Technicians must be comfortable climbing ladders and working in various environments, including basements, crawl spaces, and attics. Safety gear, including steel toe boots, a hard hat, and a vest, is required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking dedicated security technicians to join our team in the growing Savannah market. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including alarm wiring and access control equipment. We have openings for both Level 1 and Level 2 technicians, offering a chance to work in a dynamic and expanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, floors, and other areas as required.
- Examine systems to locate problems such as loose connections or broken insulation.
- Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; position and terminate cables, wires, and strapping.
- Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
- Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, attaching electrical and telephone wiring to connect components.
- Mount raceways and conduits, fastening wires to wood framing using staplers.
- Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
- Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features to ensure proper functioning and diagnose malfunctions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and basic network-related problems.
- Assign IP addresses and ensure network connectivity.
- Complete projects within budget, on time, and in a safe manner.
- Maintain the company's high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Submit all paperwork on time.
- Adhere to all required project-specific as well as company safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Security installation experience including Access Control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Structured cabling experience with Cat5/6.
- Understanding of IPV4 and ability to assign IP addresses.
- Drive and ability to learn and take direction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of low voltage field experience.
- Professional communication and delegation skills.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technicians must supply their own hand tools, steel toe boots, hard hat, and vest.
