The Opportunity

(Car Dealership Experience is a Plus)

We're looking for someone who sits at the intersection of AI tools, digital marketing, and automotive retail operations. This isn't a traditional dealership role. You'll be the person who bridges technology and people, making sure the sophisticated tools we've built actually get used, adopted, and deliver results across both stores.

What You'll Actually Do

Tool Deployment & Training

  • Manage our internal portal of custom-built dealership tools and calculators
  • Train sales consultants, service advisors, BDC representatives, and managers on how to use these tools effectively
  • Monitor adoption rates and troubleshoot when people aren't using what's available to them
  • Gather feedback from end users and communicate improvement opportunities

AI Strategy & Implementation

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI across sales and service functions
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools and evaluate which ones could benefit our operations
  • Build and refine prompts, workflows, and automations that save time and improve output quality
  • Serve as the in-house expert when team members have questions about AI applications

Marketing Support & Agency Liaison

  • Work alongside our internal marketing team and external ad agency to ensure campaigns align with dealership goals
  • Help translate dealership needs into actionable briefs for agency partners
  • Assist with digital marketing initiatives including social media, email campaigns, and lead generation
  • Track campaign performance and communicate results to leadership

Service Department Support

  • Partner with service advisors on templates, customer communication tools, and process improvements
  • Assist in training advisors on system tools and standard operating procedures
  • Support service management with reporting tools and performance tracking

Sales Department Support

  • Support sales managers with reporting tools and performance tracking systems
  • Collaborate with BDC on scripts, follow-up sequences, and customer engagement strategies
  • Identify training gaps and develop materials to address them

What We're Looking For

AI & Technology Skills

  • Intermediate-to-advanced familiarity with AI LLMs/tools/platforms
  • Experience with no-code/low-code platforms such as Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Blink, Notion, n8n, or comparable tools
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly and teaching others how to use it
  • Understanding of how AI can be applied practically in a business setting and an understanding of agentic AI tools now being developed

Digital Marketing Knowledge

  • Intermediate understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (paid social, Google Ads, email marketing, SEO basics)
  • Ability to interpret marketing metrics and explain them in plain language
  • Experience coordinating with agencies or vendors preferred

Communication & Training Ability

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Patience and clarity when teaching technology to people with varying comfort levels
  • Ability to create simple training materials, documentation, and how-to guides

Mindset

  • Self-directed and able to manage multiple priorities without constant supervision
  • Curious about technology and genuinely interested in how things work
  • Comfortable admitting what you don't know and figuring it out
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work across departments

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in automotive retail (sales, service, BDC, or management)
  • Familiarity with dealership CRM systems (VinSolutions, etc.)
  • Background in graphic design or UI/UX principles
  • CS degree or training
  • Experience building dashboards, reports, or internal tools
  • Knowledge of Kia and Hyundai product lines

Compensation & Details

  • Location: Primarily based at World Hyundai Matteson with regular presence at World Kia Joliet
  • Type: Full-time
  • Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits
  • Reports to: Dealer Principal and GMs/Marketing
