Job Description
As a Cyber Software Engineer on the IronGuard team, you will play a key role in developing innovative cybersecurity solutions and tools to address complex cyber threats. You will collaborate with top-tier professionals to identify vulnerabilities, construct threat models, and engineer advanced tooling to automate processes and strengthen Lockheed Martin's security posture.

Key Responsibilities
Leading the development of groundbreaking solutions and cutting-edge tools to address challenges in the realm of cybersecurity
Conducting comprehensive assessments of code to uncover security vulnerabilities and map potential attack vectors
Managing partnerships and relationships with Software Development teams to integrate static and dynamic analysis capabilities into their pipelines
Designing, implementing, and integrating tools to automate the security assessments of software products
Developing the execution of fuzz testing protocols on embedded systems to unearth latent weaknesses and fortify defenses against potential exploits
Evaluating open-source packages to identify vulnerabilities and maliciously implanted software
Managing and maintaining the team's current tooling and responsible for maintaining cost & schedule performance within the context of their projects.
Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Program Managers, the customer, and other internal LM teams.
Development of new policies and procedure to standardize and improve how we secure our software products at LM Aero.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Experience in software development, cybersecurity, or related field
Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards
F-35 software development experience
Experience leading engineering projects
Active Security Clearance
Desired skills
Embedded software development experience (C, C++, Rust, etc.)
Front-end development experience (React, JavaScript, etc.)
Scripting/CI experience (Gitlab, Jenkins, Python, bash, etc.)
Containerization tool experience (Podman, k8s, etc.)

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,200 - $225,975. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
