RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Fort Collins, CO that is seeking a Thermal Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute test plans to validate and ensure optimal system thermal management, fan control and acoustic performance
* Collaborate effectively with internal and external development partners leveraging your expertise to shape thermal and acoustic design strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
* 3+ years of experience in a related discipline, with a strong emphasis on thermal design and computer system fan control
* 3+ years of experience, specializing in computer system thermal design, fan control and acoustics
* Proficiency in using ProEngineer or other 3D CAD software for mechanical design
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply them effectively
* Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and thermal mockups to validate thermal solutions
* Skillful in conveying design proposals and negotiating options effectively
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and the local language
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
