Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Senior Project Manager

Position Type: Full-time Contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Richmond VA

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • looking for a seasoned project manager who brings their knowledge and experience to the table to manage an at-times chaotic environment with shifting priorities. The incoming candidate needs to be a self-starter and fast learner, who remains calm under pressure and can respectfully and professionally deal and negotiate with difficult stakeholders. Lastly, the select candidate must possess the ability to quickly learn the politics of a new organization and establish good working relationships that will drive the project to success.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • IT software project management experience
  • Experience and comfort in managing projects using varying methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid, etc.)
  • Excellent issue, risk, decision and change control capabilities.
  • Ability to establish key processes and norms that are necessary to monitor and control the project in the absence of existing standards and processes
  • In-depth problem solving and conflict resolution skills necessary to resolve disagreements between stakeholders and/or team members
  • Possesses excellent time management skills in order to accomplish all of the administrative tasks necessary to keep the project under control
  • Experience and comfortable in developing a project approach that meets the needs of the project stakeholders
  • Effectively manages scope, schedule and budget to meet project goals and objectives
  • Active PMP cert (pls upload a copy of the cert under the Reference tab)
  • Previous use of Jira for project tracking and management

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Salary Range*: $75 to $80 Per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
