Client: Energy & Utilities Industry
Job Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Michigan
Duration: 12 months of Contract + Possibility for extension
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Range: $25- $30
Job Description:
The Graphic Designer develops visually compelling, original and creative graphic artwork through multi-channel campaigns to educate and engage audiences, earn stakeholder trust and achieve desired behaviors and outcomes.
- Assets could include digital static, HTML5 and OOH advertisements, email, the web, social media posts, direct mail, print ads, infographics and other tactics.
- Takes ownership for assigned subjects areas and products, achieving a deep understanding of the customer problem and developing visually unique ways to engage the audience.
- The role collaborates to inform visual strategy for assigned audience, topic and/or channel and provides suggestions to enhance creative materials using best practices, performance results and brand standards.
Skills:
- Understanding of and practical application of graphic design programs (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite and CAD platforms).
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, and basic design principles.
- Able to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
- Insightful thinking and an aptitude for creative, out of the box thinking; excellent storyteller.
- Experience in web design, content development and email coding.
- Adaptable and inclusive, with the ability to move seamlessly across diverse business groups, audiences and concepts.
Education:
- Bachelor degree; ideally in Visual Communications, Graphics Design or comparable design related area of study
