Chief Technology Advisor

Role Overview
Lead Technical Consultant will play a critical role in post-sales client support, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of products and services within existing contracts. This position is highly client-facing, requiring strong communication and presentation skills to manage engagements and provide consultative solutions. This position is remote, but will require the ability to travel up to 3x per month to client sites (expenses covered). This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with clients to understand challenges and develop solution documents.

  • Lead scoping, pricing, planning, and designing of infrastructure and operations solutions.

  • Manage engagements related to Windows, Linux, storage, backup, cloud, and other enterprise technologies.

  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including PMs, service delivery managers, and technical advisors.

  • Provide proactive recommendations on features, functionalities, and product capabilities.

  • Facilitate amendments and approvals for requests falling outside of existing contracts.

  • Ensure smooth transitions from scoping to implementation by engaging the delivery team.



Qualifications & Required Skills



  • Client Engagement & Management: Ability to make recommendations and represent Ensono effectively.

  • Broad Technical Expertise: Willingness to work across multiple domains and outside of core specialties.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure Experience:



  • Azure Platform (high priority)

  • Databases (Oracle preferred, SQL experience beneficial)

  • Networking, Compute, Storage

  • Other Cloud Platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS)

  • Mainframe technologies



Preferred Background



  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture or technical consulting.

  • Strong technical professionals with demonstrated client-facing capabilities.

  • Previous experience supporting high-volume enterprise accounts and managing complex engagements.
