Position Title: Multi-Disciplinary Engineer
Location: Vandenberg Space Force Base
Relocation Assistance: None available at this time
Remote/Telework: NO - Not available for this position
Clearance Type: DoD Secret
Shift: Day shift with occasional event, evening, and/or weekend hours (as needed)
Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time
Description of Duties:
The Multi-Disciplinary Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Deploy, configure, and support customer laptop and desktop computer systems, software applications, IT support equipment, VoIP and telephony (mobile phone) products.
Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support for customer equipment and fix issues as required, especially during Test/event periods.
Provide technical support for enterprise networking and infrastructure projects. Maintain and provide 100% uptime network support, including cabling (Fiber and Copper) support as required.
Provide COMSEC support to deployed COMSEC equipment and function as the local COMSEC Hand-Receipt Holder, re-key equipment and general COMSEC support.
Document all work.
Perform as the Trusted Agent for the site
On-site support is required at all times, especially during mission and test events.
Job Related Travel may also be required.

Basic Requirements:
Must have 1, or more, years of direct IT experience
Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Sec+)
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
This position is expected to pay $90,000 - $110,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
