Job Details
We are in search of a Sr Configuration Management Process Architect to join our team of configuration managers to support the organization. As a Process Architect, you will be responsible and accountable for configuration management best practices in data quality and integrity, including tracking and maintenance of assets, attributes, processes, and tools. These practices are key to enabling the optimization of data analytics and metrics reporting. Our team's primary responsibility is to ensure high-quality data is available, accessible, and secure for our stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing and optimizing configuration management data to enable data-driven decision-making. This is a highly collaborative role where partnership and collaboration with many technical and non-technical teams are critical.
Need an experienced resource (at least 3-5 years in Configuration Management) to perform the day-to-day delivery of Configuration Management services to the organization with minimal direction, focusing work on prioritized tasks.
Data Auditor Responsibilities:
- Work with Data Owners to monitor data accuracy.
- Strategically drive data reviews on pre-set frequencies.
- Help to create and communicate company data policies and procedures to ensure data quality and reduce discrepancies.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of how data flows around the business, who uses it, and how.
- Monitor day-to-day processes to ensure data quality controls.
- Role will ensure the right people are contacted when needed & that configuration management requests, and configuration items, including compliance data, are tracked, recorded, and updated correctly in CMDB.
- Drive communication & awareness of data quality governance processes.
- Calculate KPIs to measure the success of data quality efforts.
- Work leadership to escalate key issues and communicate status. This role will ensure data is accurate & maintained within the CMDB (Configuration Management Database), and work on short-term projects related to Knowledge Mgmt and documentation.

Outline of Specific Responsibilities:
- Perform operational activities as defined by Configuration Management policies and procedures.
- Fulfill Configuration Management Service Requests as assigned.
- Engage with strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required functionality within project timeframes.
- Mentor the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies, and procedures.
- Design, code, and test reports as needed.
- Collect and report metrics as required.
- Identify and report non-compliance situations.
- Perform Configuration Management audits as directed.
- Identify Service Improvement opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broad experience in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) such as ServiceNow is required >>> ServiceNow is the preferred database, but will accept others such as Remedy, AppSpace, Ivanti, etc. (see basic quals section).
Basic Qualifications:
- Uses Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow data model and relationships within an enterprise-level CMDB.
- Ability to work alone, analyze, interpret complex data, and provide highly advanced solutions to technical problems escalated. Strong team dynamics are a must-have.
- At least 3 years of experience leading business process management (BPM) or business analysis functions within a large enterprise.
- At least 3 years of experience participating workflow, process, or development projects.
- At least 3 years of experience with enterprise service management, workflow, or business process automation tools (ServiceNow preferred).
- Strong technology background and applicable technology skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL v3 or later and ITSM best practices.
- Experience as a product owner, driving the outcomes for multiple products or complex features.
- Strong communication, writing, and executive presentation skills.
- Able to translate complex ideas into understandable strategies, requirements, value statements, and business outcomes.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
