RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Business Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as a liaison between infrastructure teams and senior leadership, ensuring clear visibility into operational status, budget, and lifecycle planning
* Analyze infrastructure hardware initiatives including upgrades, end-of-life assets, and hardware refresh projects
* Create polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations to summarize key initiatives, budget impacts, and infrastructure health
* Leverage Excel (including pivot tables, macros, and vlookups) to manage and analyze large datasets within the internal ESD asset management tool
* Ensure accuracy and alignment of asset data within the CMDB and related internal systems
* Partner with IT teams to collect and validate inputs regarding infrastructure assets (CPU, memory, storage, servers, etc.)
* Support initiatives aligned with ITIL processes, change management, and operational best practices
* Track and manage infrastructure tickets using Cherwell or a comparable ticketing system
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally supporting IT infrastructure or data center teams
* Advanced Excel skills: macros, pivot tables, data validation, vlookups
* Experience working with large datasets and translating raw data into actionable business insights
* Proficiency in creating professional PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences
* Familiarity with IT infrastructure components: servers, storage, CPU, memory, hardware refresh cycles
* Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and CMDB systems
* Experience with ticketing tools, preferably Cherwell
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interface across technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience working within an enterprise data center or infrastructure environment
* Exposure to asset lifecycle management tools or platforms integrated with a CMDB
* Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
