RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Manager of Cyber Security.
Summary:
The Manager - Cyber Security is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of information security within the organization, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This role will play a crucial role in developing and implementing robust security policies, procedures, and practices to safeguard our assets and mitigate cybersecurity risks. The Manager of Cyber Security ensures client's standards comply with and are executed consistently with company direction.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement an enterprise-wide information security strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and prioritize security initiatives
* Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, guidelines, and legal requirements
* Develop & maintain a risk management framework to prioritize and address security risks
* Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats
* Design and implement a secure and scalable information security architecture
* Evaluate, implement and manage security technologies and tools to enhance the organization's security posture
* Develop and maintain an incident response plan to effectively respond to security incidents
* Lead investigations into security breaches and incidents, providing thorough documentation and recommendations for improvement
* Develop and implement security awareness training programs to enhance the company's understanding of security best practices
* Assess the security posture of third-party vendors and manage ongoing relationships to ensure the security of outsourced services
* Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification
* 7+ years of experience in Information Security
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Proven experience in information security management roles
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices
* Ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism in serving the internal customer
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Proven ability to facilitate requirement workshops / training sessions with large groups of business users and leadership
* Ability and proven experience to translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications that can be used for development, breaking down technical complexities so that they can be easily understood by business units and end user
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
